The hotel policy of addressing guests by their names and accommodating their personal preferences works for us and made us feel at home! We enjoyed our stay and hospitality shown to us so much on our first trip that we didn't hesitate to return. The location of the hotel is in the best part of the island! The views of the ocean from the roof top restaurant and bar are beautiful, especially at sunset making it the perfect romantic spot for a sundowner! The infinity pool overlooking the sea is fantastic although a bit cold in the winter months. We loved our suite with balcony and sea view. We know it takes a team of good people to creat a perfect holiday experience, just to name a few. We enjoyed the food and particularly appreciated Fabrice taking personal interest and accommodating our preference for local cuisine which we enjoyed most evenings! I have made my own green chilli paste! A special thanks to Lando and Brian for the special table decorations and remembering our drinks order! Sooraj for the pleasure of your company and for making the best cocktails, best of all keeping them topped up! Sanjay for the special decorations and personal touches in our room! Deepak for your attentive service and our conversations over breakfast and lunch! We will be back to visit our Mauritian family in the future! read less

I fell ill due to the weather and have received so much help from both the hotel manager and the kitchen staff as a family. I travel a lot in different countries but I have never met such nice people in one place. I also want to give good reviews for the Spa section. My first massage by Vanita was the best i had in my life. She took away all pains from my whole body. Today i had my second massage by her (two in 9 days) she is the best. Last but not least, I would like to say that the receptionists have also helped me with all kind of information I needed about tours and public transport around the Island.
The location of Ocean v hotel is wonderful. Beach lovers got just 3 minutes walk to one of the best beaches in mauritius. While public transport lovers have bus Station in half minute (infront of the hotel building 😍😍😍) read less

The food and view from the rooftop is breathtaking. The room is so beautiful, the ocean view from the bed and the balcony is a dream ! The service ( restaurant/cleaning/Reception/everybody)is amazing! We miss u a lot! Mauritius is a beautiful place and the beaches near oceanV (Mont choisy beach!!) are stunning. We hired a car from the airport-I was driving-so my hubby could drink a cold beer at the beach. Easy!best decision! Huge Supermarket near by. Bus Stopp in front of the hotel-or u can plan tours from oceanV-just ask the nice staff! Book tours at the hotel or at the little shops near beaches -geturguide was way to expensive! relax-once u there u can plan.
